    Example

Filling a permanent office manager role

A business needed a new office manager but had no time to sift applications. We clarified the role, screened applicants, presented a short list with notes and managed interviews and the offer.

  • man in gray shirt standing beside brown cardboard boxes
    Remy Gieling

    Example

Temporary cover for a busy season

A warehouse needed extra staff for a seasonal rise in orders. We confirmed shifts and site rules, supplied pre-interviewed temporary workers and arranged replacements when the schedule changed.

  • man in black long sleeve shirt using macbook
    Christian Velitchkov

    Example

Contract specialist for a system change

A company replacing its finance software needed an experienced contractor for the length of the project. We agreed scope and duration, found people with similar project experience and set out terms in writing.

  • stacks of paper documents and file folders
    Wesley Tingey

    Example

    Screening a large applicant pool

An employer's own advert attracted far more applications than the team could review. We sifted every CV against agreed criteria, held screening calls and returned a ranked shortlist, replying to unsuccessful applicants too.

More about us →

Why us

  • Shortlists, not stacks of CVs

You see a few well-screened candidates with notes on each, so your interview time goes on people who fit the role.

  • Both sides kept informed

Employers and candidates hear from us at every stage, including feedback after interviews and updates when plans change.

  • Terms agreed in writing

Before we start any search or assignment, we confirm the role, the scope and the terms with you in writing.

  • Support after the start date

We keep in touch with you and your new starter through the first weeks, so small issues are dealt with early.

Who we help

  • Small and growing businesses

Often hiring without an HR team, they need help defining the role, finding suitable candidates and running a clear interview process.

  • Established employers

HR teams and hiring managers who need extra reach for hard-to-fill roles and a shortlist they can rely on.

  • Job seekers

People looking for their next role who want relevant openings, honest advice on their applications and regular updates.

  • Professionals considering a move

People in work who want a discreet conversation about what else is out there before they decide to apply.

How it works

  1. 1

    Talk through the role

We discuss the job, the skills that matter, the team and your timescale. Then we confirm the brief and terms in writing.

  2. 2

    Search and screen

We advertise, search our network and interview applicants, checking experience, references and right-to-work where needed.

  3. 3

    Shortlist and interviews

You receive a short list with notes. We arrange interviews, gather feedback from both sides and manage the offer.

  4. 4

    Start and follow-up

Once your new starter begins, we check in with you both during the first weeks.

What we stand for

  1. 01

    Listen before searching

We learn the role, the team and your expectations first, so the people we put forward fit the job you actually have.

  2. 02

    Shortlists over volume

You receive a small number of candidates we have already spoken with, not a stack of unread CVs.

  3. 03

    Honest feedback both ways

Employers hear what candidates think of the role. Candidates hear why an application moved forward or stopped.

  4. 04

    Clear updates throughout

Everyone knows where a hiring process stands, from the first call to the final offer.

Questions

What kinds of roles do you recruit for?

We handle permanent, temporary and contract roles. Tell us about the position, the skills involved and the working pattern. We will say plainly whether it is a role we can fill well for you before any work begins.

How do I start working with you as an employer?

Call or email us with a short description of the role. We then arrange a conversation to understand the duties, the team and your timescale. We confirm the brief and terms in writing before the search starts.

What should I prepare before our first conversation?

A job description helps, but it is not essential. It is useful to know the main duties, must-have skills, salary or rate range, working hours, preferred start date and who will be involved in interviews.

How do you check candidates?

We interview candidates ourselves, review their experience against your brief and take up references. Where a role needs it, we also check right-to-work documents and relevant qualifications before anyone reaches your shortlist.

How are your fees agreed?

Our terms depend on the type of role and service you need. We explain them clearly at the start and confirm everything in writing before we begin, so there are no surprises when a placement is made.
